Understanding your body changes everything.
Many people are told what exercises to do but are never taught why their body moves the way it does.
At OBA, understanding is part of every session. By learning how your body creates support, stability, balance, and efficient movement, you develop greater body awareness and a deeper connection to how you move through life.
When you understand how your body works, movement becomes more intuitive, confident, and sustainable. Instead of simply following exercises, you become an active participant in your own progress.
Explore our Pelvic Floor Fundamentals page to learn more about the body's deep stabilizing system and its role in movement, stability, and function.
Educate
Understand how your body moves, compensates, and adapts.
Explore
Develop awareness through intentional movement and breath.
Stabilize
Build support through the body's deep stabilizing systems.
Connect
Create sustainable movement patterns that translate into everyday life.
Most movement problems are not mobility problems.
They are support problems.
Before the body can move efficiently, it must first feel supported.
At OBA, we begin by restoring awareness of the body's deep stabilizing system—including the diaphragm, pelvic floor, transverse abdominals, and multifidi—to create a stronger foundation for movement.
When support improves, movement often becomes easier, stronger, and more sustainable.
Pilates provides the framework through which movement is explored, refined, and integrated.
At OBA, Pilates is used as a tool to improve alignment, develop awareness, build support, and create more efficient movement patterns.
Rather than focusing solely on exercise, sessions emphasize understanding how the body organizes movement, transfers force, and creates stability.
The goal is not simply to move more—it is to move with greater confidence, control, and ease.
Movement is only one part of the equation.
Many clients benefit from developing a deeper awareness of breath mechanics, pressure regulation, nervous system state, and the body's natural stabilizing system.
When appropriate, sessions may incorporate breath-led movement, sensory awareness, restorative techniques, and nervous system support to help the body absorb and integrate the work more effectively.
Every session is individualized, meeting you where you are while supporting long-term resilience, balance, and optimal movement.

Every private session is tailored to your body's unique needs and goals. We begin with education, breath, awareness, and movement assessment to better understand how your body creates support and moves through space.
Most movement problems are not mobility problems—they are support problems.
We begin by restoring awareness of the body's deep stabilizing system:
• Diaphragm
• Pelvic Floor
• Transverse Abdominis
• Multifidi
Together these muscles create the pressure system that supports the spine, transfers force efficiently, and creates stability from the inside out.
Using Pilates-based movement, we explore posture, alignment, balance, mobility, and strength while creating movement patterns that support everyday life.
When appropriate, sessions may incorporate nervous system regulation, restorative techniques, sound healing, or Reiki to help support recovery and integration.
Every body has a story. Whether you're recovering from injury, seeking greater stability, improving performance, or simply wanting to move with more confidence, I'd love to hear from you.
